Reflecting on EVX: A Remarkable Experience in Austin

At Engel & Völkers San Miguel, we are committed to delivering A Higher Standard in Real Estate, and attending EVX 2025 in Austin was an incredible opportunity to reinforce that mission. EVX, Engel & Völkers' annual networking and learning event, brings together top advisors, shop leaders, and industry experts from around the world. It’s a place where we gain insights into the latest market trends, expand our knowledge, and connect with fellow professionals who share the same passion for excellence. 

This year was our first time attending, and it exceeded our expectations. We were joined by shop leaders from across Mexico, including Mexico City, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, and Los Cabos, making it an enriching experience of collaboration and learning. 

Sunday: A Prestigious Induction 

Before the official start of EVX, our License Partner Wesley Gleason and Advisor Holly Houston Ortiz had the honor of attending the Private Office Induction. This exclusive group represents the highest echelon of Engel & Völkers professionals, recognized for their outstanding achievements and dedication to providing exceptional service. We are incredibly proud of Wesley and Holly for joining this elite network of top advisors. 

Day 1: Learning and Connecting 

The first official day of EVX was packed with insightful conferences and panels covering everything from emerging market trends to the role of AI in real estate. These sessions provided valuable knowledge to help us stay ahead in the industry and continue offering top-tier service to our clients. 

The day ended in style with the famous White Party at the JW Marriott. It was a fantastic opportunity to network with advisors from all over the world, exchange ideas, and celebrate the collective success of Engel & Völkers. 

Day 2: Inspiration and Recognition 

The second day of EVX was just as impactful. We had the privilege of attending conferences led by some of the most influential figures in the company, including Engel & Völkers' founder Christian Völkers, Group CEO Jawed Barna, and President of E&V Americas Stuart Siegel. Their insights into the future of the brand and the industry were both inspiring and motivating. 

We also participated in engaging panels such as Lessons from Shop Leaders and an unforgettable keynote speech by Kevin Brown, the creator of the HERO Effect, who shared his wisdom on leadership and excellence. The day continued with breakout sessions that covered essential topics like marketing strategies, business growth, and enhancing client relationships—key elements that help us maintain A Higher Standard in Real Estate. 

In the evening, we attended the prestigious Annual Awards Dinner, where top-performing advisors and shops were recognized for their achievements. We are incredibly proud of our own Tomas Beamonte and Turquesa Chipman, who were honored at the Onyx Level for their outstanding sales performance last year. Additionally, Wesley Gleason and Holly Houston Ortiz were inducted into the Chairman’s Circle, the highest level of recognition for annual sales. 

The night ended with a fantastic After Party at ACL Live, where we celebrated with colleagues and new friends, reflecting on an eventful and rewarding experience. 

Looking Ahead to Miami 

EVX 2025 was an unforgettable event that reinforced our dedication to excellence in real estate. We left Austin feeling inspired, motivated, and ready to apply all that we learned to better serve our clients. We can’t wait to continue this journey at EVX 2026 in Miami!
